Watershed Monitoring Project




This program facilitates watershed restoration by gathering the environmental data necessary to secure grant funding.
By combining advanced technology with rigorous technical standards and expert field collection, we aim to improve water quality, enhance biodiversity, and mitigate flooding.
Funded by the Ontario Charitable Gaming Association (OCGA), the initiative also works to expand public recreational access to local waterways.

Restoration, Education, and Stewardship Program




This program, funded by the Ontario Charitable Gaming Association (OCGA), provides secondary students with hands-on educational activities, including:

Plant identification

Tree planting and associated strategies

Surface water sampling and analysis (multi-parameter Sonde meter and spectrophotometer)

Stream profiling

Microbiological monitoring of surface water

Soil profiling, testing, and analysis

Benthos biomonitoring

Map and compass navigation

Classroom-based learning
Programs will be customized to meet the specific needs of each school.
